Hands up, it's time to show off all the starting paragraphs and even pages that never made it through childhood into full-blown adolescent bookdom.
 
Some of these have been worked through in notebooks, which are now scattered anywhere between Yorkshire and the Northern Territory. They’re now gone. Some of these have been worked through in digital form, in which case only the final version will sit inside this virtual little book.
